Books 1 and 2 are intended for learners who need to acquire the basics of grammar. Books 3 to 5 are for learners who need to strengthen their proficienry in grammar and improve their written English. Eachb ook is madeu p of 42 to 56 units,a nd units dealingw ith relatedt opics (e.g.p repositionsa) regrouped together fbr ease of use. A unit covers three to five grammar concepts and includes four to six different types of exercises.
Key grammar concepts (e.g. tenses) taught in the lower level books are re-visited and expanded upon in the other books of this series. For a list of units, refer to Ihe Conrcnrs at the beginning of each book.

The books use a simple but effective three-step approach (error identification, correction, and practice) to help learners master English grammar. There are four pagesp er unit, and each unit is divided into three sections:C
All units begin with a Checkpoint section containing several pairs of numbered examples that show common grammatical errors and then their corrected forms. These examples of correct and incorrect.u sage demonstratet o the student how slight differencesi n expressionc an result in grammaucal errors.

The studentsc an then refert o the correspondingG rammar Pointsin the next sectionl ,r'hiche xplain the grammar concepts highlighted under Checkpoint, show how to apply the grammar coniepts correctly, and provide more examples. In the third section, Practice, students revise the grammar concepts they have earned by completing a group of exercises(. The answersc an be found at the back of the book.) This enable's qrJick revision of each concept, and allows students to see if there are any aspects that they do not fuliy comprehend. Students may review what they have learned by going through Ihe Grammar Points again after completing each exercise. The Grammar Points can also be used for quick relerencep urposes. There are six revision and evaluation tests towards the back of everv book. These tests deal with most of the Grammar Poinfs covered in each book.
